Courmayeur, on the Italian side of Mont Blanc

Courmayeur is one of the best winter destinations in Italy for downhill skiers but equally for off-piste skiers who can ski the Vallée Blanche down to Chamonix.  For lovers of cross-country skiing, a detour is needed in the Val Ferret where one of the most beautiful cross country area in the Alps is located. 

In summer time, a visit of Courmayeur and the Val of Aosta, is mandatory for the beauty of the Alpine valley, some Roman sites and several castles.
